Eastwood fiddlers
The first group of its kind in Waterloo Region, the Eastwood Fiddlers began in 2001 and hasn't stopped since. Performing a variety of fiddle styles, including bluegrass, Métis, jazz, and Celtic music from Cape Breton, Ireland, and Scotland, this group is made up of orchestral string players, piano and guitar players, bodhràn players, bagpipers, and any other types of musicians that you might find playing up tempo, fun music! They have even inspired Eastwood's previous trips to the Celtic Colours Festival in Cape Breton. They perform regularly at school concerts and at a wide variety of community and charitable events, and they meet every Monday from 3:45pm to 5:00pm.
